1. Way Down There – WHO IS KIDNAPPING YOUNG GIRLS IN THIS SMALL TOWN?
Detective Allie Down never had a strong relationship with her sister. Now her sister is dead – a tragic hit and run accident – and Allie leaves her busy city life to come back to her hometown to raise her teenage niece. She’s now in the role as mother instead of the ‘cool, fun’ aunt. Her niece is grieving the death of her mother and Allie has more questions than answers about what really happened the night Alex was killed.
Sandemor is a sleepy town. A place not many would know or remember. Compared to the city detective life, Allie isn’t sure how she’s going to make this work. Trying to track down a missing cat isn’t exactly what she signed up for.
Then comes the day two frantic – and newly divorced – parents show up to the police station. Pointing the finger at each other, claiming the other forgot to pick up their daughter from dance class two nights ago. All Allie hears is that a little girl has been missing for about forty-eight hours. If that’s not bad enough, both parents end up getting caught in lies as to what they were doing the night their daughter went missing.
Allie is thrust into the disappearance case, but she’s not alone. She didn’t know Ben Welloski became a detective. Last time she saw him, he was working in his father’s garage. The secret sparks between them are still there, but the focus has to be on finding young Jessie.
Clues lead Allie to another kidnapping case in a different town. The lead detective is an arrogant jerk, and the man accused of the kidnapping swears he’s innocent. Without enough evidence to make an arrest, Allie wonders if the man has struck again.
Just as she begins to piece things together, a call comes in that a body has been found nearby. When Allie arrives and sees who it is, she suddenly feels like she’s back in the big city again. Only here in her small town, any young child could be the next victim if she doesn’t act fast enough.

2. Down the Drain – A WOMAN JUMPS FROM A BUS TO HER DEATH. WRITTEN ON HER HAND IS AN ADDRESS. WHAT’S REVEALED IS DECADES OF MURDER.
As the sleepy town of Sandemor settles after the previous nightmare of a kidnapper turned murderer, Detective Allie Down finds herself back to mundane tasks. Such as finding out who stole change from an old man’s car. This time, she doesn’t mind. Her home life is focused on raising her niece Lo. The sparks with Ben are still there, but quiet. For now.
When a call comes to Allie about an elderly woman who ended her own life by jumping off a moving bus, she wonders what she can do. She arrives to the scene anyway and discovers there’s an address written on the woman’s hand. The woman – Vadoma – is in her nineties and jumped off the bus in front of other residents of a senior living center.
The address takes Allie to the home of a woman who has been tortured, tired to a chair, and left to die.
It’s a miracle the woman doesn’t die.
Once alert, the woman doesn’t remember a thing about the attack.
Allie receives another phone call. This time from the forever cocky Detective Johnny Barby. He’s at a gruesome murder scene and wants her help.
When Allie arrives to that crime scene, she sees something that instantly connects the murder and the attack on the woman back in town.
How’s it possible two people were attacked at the same time in two different places?
If that’s not enough, there’s a box of ‘trophies’ found at the murder scene, revealing several other women’s fates over the course of ten years.
As Allie digs into the past of each victim, she finds herself racing back and forth, past to the present, trying to discover who could possibly be doing this.
Her gut tells her Vadoma has something to do with this. And she’s right.
Only Vadoma claimed to be a psychic.
Allie can’t solve a murder investigation with a crystal ball.
She needs facts. Evidence. The truth.
And time begins to run out when she learns there have been two killers on the loose.
Both men in different locations, planning to kill again at the same time.

3. Down to the Wire– A WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN THE WOODS. A CRYPTIC MESSAGE WRITTEN IN BLOOD. THE CASE THAT JUST MAY END DETECTIVE ALLIE DOWN’S CAREER.
It’s almost Halloween in the normally quiet town of Sandemor. A small task force is formed by Detective Allie Down. The goal? Find out who has been trashing pumpkins and porches in the wealthy area of town. For Allie, it’s better than chasing down a cold-blooded murderer. Her focus is solely on taking care of her niece Lo. Plus, she needs the break after her last case. The haunting image what she had to do keeps her up at night. Her only reprieve is taking a midnight walk. Which usually eases her.
Until the night she sees a young woman dressed in white, running from her.
Unable to catch the young woman, Allie goes home, unrested and uneasy.
Before Allie can figure out who the young woman is, she gets word of a female body found in the woods.
The body isn’t the same young woman Allie saw.
But there’s a message written in blood.
WE’RE ALL HIS.
With Ben at her side, Allie immerses herself into the investigation, which takes her to a dark part of the town.
A place where young women and adult women have no choice but to survive. By any means necessary.
The local police try to keep up with the activity that occurs under the bridge known for violence and ‘lost souls’ gathering.
The first girl Allie talks to refuses to say a word.
The next day – that girl is dead.
Coincidence?
Allie doesn’t think so.
Soon, she begins to chase down every girl and every lead with an eerie sensation that something bigger is happening in and around her small town.
Without proof, all Allie can do is keep working.
There’s just one problem – everyone she talks to ends up murdered…
And she feels it’s only a matter of time before the killer strikes close to home.

5. Down For the Count – ONE MURDER TURNS INTO TWO… THEN THREE… AND FOUR… AND DETECTIVE ALLIE DOWN FINDS HERSELF COMING FACE TO FACE WITH ‘THE ONE’ WHO THREATENS HER THE MOST.
After a harrowing murder upheaves Detective Allie Down’s life, she knows there is no stopping what needs to be done. It’s up to her to track down ‘The One’ and put an end to his criminal and murderous spree.
The problem is that Allie is one her own. Under strict orders from her boss NOT to make a move, she has to work in secrecy, putting her career and life on the line.
Soon random murders begin to pop up in Sandemor. Allie knows this is the work of ‘The One’ but she can’t prove it. Her only choice is to dig deeper than she has ever before.
When she finally begins to unravel who ‘The One’ actually is, not only is there no turning back… there may be no way forward.
With a dangerous blizzard about to hit Sandemor, Allie comes face to face with her greatest enemy…
Which bears the most important question of all:
Will Detective Allie Down make it out of this storm alive?

6. Down to the Bone – TWO BEST FRIENDS MURDERED AT THE SAME TIME. A HUSBAND, A BOYFRIEND, AND AN EX ALL BEING QUESTIONED. THAT’S WHEN THREATENING NOTES BEGIN SHOWING UP AND THE CASE TAKES A TWIST NOBODY EVER SAW COMING.
It’s Halloween time in the small town of Sandemor. The biggest problem is supposed to be how to organize the town’s Halloween parade.
That all changes when a nosy woman calls about seeing a mysterious figure across the street from her house.
A quick search reveals two murdered women.
Best friends both with checkered pasts, leaving Detective Allie Down to think that maybe this case will be a quick one to solve.
Which is good because she has the mayor breathing down her neck over the parade.
That’s when everything changes.
The suspects in question have alibis.
And Allie finds a threatening note on her vehicle.
Someone is watching.
Someone is plotting.
Someone is waiting for the right moment to strike.
When Allie then discovers a cold case from decades ago that had a similar crime scene as the current case, she begins to realize that this isn’t going to be a simple ‘crime of passion’ as she once thought.
A killer from years ago is back and has struck again.
Allie calls in another detective who specializes in cold cases to help.
There’s just one big problem.
It might be too late.
Another threatening note is left for Allie… and now everything she loves and cares for is at risk.
